- Find a logo either in a magazine or online: You must cut/print out the original and provide it along with your sketch upon turning it in.
- Use 3 colors that are different from the original. If the original only has one, or two, or even more than 3, alter it so that it now has 3. But an easier approach would be to find a logo that has 3 colors in its original design. Then all you would need to do is copy the design and change the color.
- To color your sketch, you may use pencils, markers and/or crayons.
I will be evaluating you on your accuracy, coloring and overall presentation.
See definition/example below to learn about what logo is and looks like:
What is a logo?A logo is ...
a name, symbol, or trademark designed by a graphic designer for easy and definite recognition. Short for logogram and logotype. Sometimes called a corporate identity, a logo typically appears on a company's letterhead, packages, signage, advertisements, Web pages, etc.
Below is the original colors of the logo...red and black. The other one below the original is a re-coloring using 3 colors. If you have 3 colors and also want to include black, it will still be considered as 3 colors.
